Tyson, our boxer, would love a little silver streak of his own but he's too big for this one.

On second look, Tyson would love the little dog inside this one more than the camper. Who wouldn't?

Fun Glasses

Here's my template for silly glasses cut from construction paper. Place the center on fold of paper, cut and fold at temple for wearing.
Let your child decorate with markers and stickers. You can use this for holidays too - St. Patricks, 4th of July, birthdays...just flourish with seasonal colors and stickers.

Lodi Hooch

I'm home with a sick child and as she sits silent between trips to the bathroom that require both of us, I find myself thinking. Thinking about Hooch. "Jail House" Hooch, home brewed hooch, some lousy hooch I brewed while living in Lodi with my in-laws during our remodel.

What is Hooch? Basically it is country wine and in the way of "jail house" - anything fermented that may give you a buzz. I attempted to brew plum hooch with an over-abundance of plums, sun ripe from Uncle Pep's farm. I also attempted peach hooch, some sits still bottled in the fridge and closet - getting "only better", if you will. While the hooch left much to be desired my labels for the bottles still tickle me.

All this thinking - was it about the drinking or the art? Maybe I have just once again gone plum crazy.
